1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Daniel's Doodles website or engaging in any transaction with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Puppy Purchase Agreement

2.1 Deposit and Payment

• A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy
• Full payment must be made before puppy pick-up or delivery
• Payment methods and amounts will be specified in your purchase agreement
• All prices are subject to change without notice until a deposit has been received

2.2 Puppy Selection

• Puppy selection is based on deposit order and breed preference
• We reserve the right to retain any puppy from any litter for our breeding program
• Final puppy selection may be influenced by temperament matching with your family

3. Health Guarantee

3.1 Initial Health

All puppies come with:

• Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
• Veterinary health examination and certificate
• Health records and vaccination history

3.2 Genetic Health Guarantee

We provide a genetic health guarantee against life-threatening hereditary conditions. Details of coverage, duration, and exclusions are specified in your individual purchase agreement. This guarantee requires:

• Prompt veterinary care when issues arise
• Compliance with recommended preventive care
• Veterinary documentation of any claimed conditions
• Notification to Daniel's Doodles within specified timeframes

4. Buyer Responsibilities

As a puppy buyer, you agree to:

• Provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, and housing
• Schedule a veterinary examination within 72 hours of receiving your puppy
• Maintain current vaccinations and preventive care
• Provide proper training and socialization
• Never abuse, neglect, or abandon the puppy
• Contact us if you can no longer care for the dog

5. Spay/Neuter Requirements

Unless otherwise specified in a breeding rights agreement, all puppies are sold as pets with limited registration and must be spayed or neutered. Specific timing requirements will be outlined in your purchase agreement.

6. Return Policy

If you are unable to keep your puppy or dog at any point in its life:

• You must contact Daniel's Doodles first
• We reserve the right of first refusal to take the dog back
• Dogs may not be sold, given away, or surrendered to shelters without our knowledge
• Return conditions and any applicable fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis

7. Limitation of Liability

Daniel's Doodles' liability is limited to the purchase price of the puppy. We are not responsible for:

• Veterinary costs incurred after purchase
• Transportation costs
• Emotional distress or consequential damages
• Issues arising from improper care or failure to follow veterinary recommendations

8. Guardian Home Program

Separate terms and conditions apply to our Guardian Home Program. Guardian families must sign a specific Guardian Home Agreement outlining all responsibilities, breeding rights, and expectations.

9. Website Use

9.1 Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Daniel's Doodles and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9.2 Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate information, we make no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of information on our website. Litter information, availability, and pricing are subject to change.

10. Photography and Social Media

By purchasing a puppy from Daniel's Doodles, you grant us permission to use photos and updates you share with us on our website and social media for promotional purposes, unless you explicitly opt out in writing.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or puppy purchases will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in North Carolina, following North Carolina law.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
